In 2003 Jonk Software was successful in bidding against several global IT companies including Oracle Corporation and Anite Public Sector for the supply and delivery of new Social Security systems for UK Local Government.

We were able to win these contracts against strong opposition because we offered a proven, cost-effective solution which demonstrated our trademark ease of use through simplicity of design.

"Supporting People" is now integrated as an Oracle 11i custom application and interfaces with SAP to administer more than £100M pa in welfare benefits plus several thousand property specific, client-related services across the United Kingdom.

Our solution was implemented on time, within budget and approved for use by the Audit Commission. This led to a personal invitation to Westminster for talks with the UK Minister for Local Government.
